It isn't about the fake eggs themselves. It's about creeping tyranny, coming under the disguise of ecological activism and Michelle's self-aggrandizing moral panic about "childhood obesity."
The fake eggs are an outgrowth of the same administration that is not only hostile toward traditional Christian observances, but also is stealthily using "stimulus funds" to get states, cities, schools, etc. to police what all of us will be eating.
